i'm still here.

hey babies, so i'll admit i'm not a good blogger. i said i'd try and i did. i suck at remembering to update. i would probably have had a little more fun with this is my computer wasn't one with a mind of its own. i'm not totally giving up. i have just gotten a flickr account as well. the photo blog thing makes more sense for me. and from my new magical phone i can upload pictures to it all the time if i want. :) its the most beautiful phone ever!!! look at it! try not to be too jealous. the big deal is, that it has everything an iphone has PLUS an 8 megapixel camera on it. 8! that's a lot for a cell phone. most stop at 5. by a freak of nature it was cheaper and i renewed my contract and dropped the price some more, and bobs your uncle, its mine. :) the two of us are quite happy together. i have named him machete and we are in love. haha. this is not the end of every day is christmas. i will still update on things here too. but the flickr will hopefully stay more up to date. if for nothing else than for my dear ol' dad. :) i am not sure what i made the whole url but it ends with katiejoellawins and my id is katie joella lawson. so, look it up if you are bored and into that sort of thing. i love you all very much and miss those of you far away from me. come see me soon. remember i live in florida with the ocean. its glorious. come on. :)

its been a while...

something i didn't get to last time is... matt and janelle are getting married. hooray!

sorry, we've been drifting apart. i'll go to therapy. :) i'm still shopping for a new blog. this one really does make me want to punch a cute furry bunny (that just wants world peace) when i put more than one picture on it.....just keepin' it real. :) i have been pretty crazy busy for a while now. especially the last month. this week has been nuts and next week is gonna be pretty coo coo too. it is because of that that i don't really have much to write about or the time to write much. but i wanted to do something. so don't hate something is better than nothing. that's all for now hopefully i will get to this again before another two months.

one of the best nights ever!

here is the big party in out of order pictures. yes, this really happened. :)i do not know what jake is doing here but it looks crazy.i don't know why i even tried to put this in order it very much did not work and makes me want to punch a baby deer.

the pictures i got are all pretty dark and there are not very many. luckily, i stole some from sarah beth, kaitlyn, and eric. :) night-vision babies. i have no flash on the video camera. big gay jeff minni hotdog totally called me out on not updating this blog so i just had to get on here and try to make her happy. :) the last couple of weeks have been so sweet. my birthday was AMAZING. it was probably one of the best birthdays in the history of birthdays. the only thing that could have made it better is for the rest of my friends and family to be there. maybe that would have been toooooo awesome. that kind of party is probably reserved for heaven. :) everyone was so friggin' sweet to me and went above and beyond what i asked for. i couldn't believe my life the whole day was like a movie or a real awesome dream. no one would ever be lonely if everyone had friends like mine. i'm not trying to brag, that is the truth. believe it.

for starters sam sang happy birthday (almost) every hour for the first part of the day. i thought it was funny. i was really glad that my birthday fell on a saturday for many reasons but one was because of the people we hang out with on saturday mornings. even though sometimes i feel a little awkward its become one of my favorite things to do lately. they sang happy birthday to me too (i'm pretty sure sam started it.) our friends lauren and isaac came in for the weekend. it was good to see them and brother. that was like a birthday party for shark. he's two this month. that's kind of weird to think of. it seems like i've had him forever.

anyway, we had lunch and just hung out bein' awesome friends. :) i went home to shower and get ready. jeff came by and we headed over to the greene's early to help with anything that needed to be helped with. they were already done with the party goods. they had even made a stage for the jolly coffee house. it was so nice. i'm glad we were there early though because it gave us some time to actually hang out before all the people got there. the fergies came by for a bit to say happy birthday so i was pretty stoked about that as well.

before i knew it everyone was there. they all looked lovely in their ugly christmas sweaters. my friends do not disappoint when it comes to the ugly sweater party. the jolly coffee house party of the night was insane. they were so funny. i wish i would have taken more pictures but i didn't want to stop video taping and miss something. i will have to figure out a way to put some videos on here. its just too good to keep to myself. i don't think i have ever seen everyone so hyper at the same time. i wonder if its just because they had gotten hopped up due to the anticipation and the waiting. we had been planning for almost two months. that's a long time for us. :) the songs that everyone did exceeded my expectations. my face was sore by the end of the night from smiling and laughing. and as if that was not enough, after that we all went upstairs to hear the magical christmas cd that everyone made for me. HOLY CRAP!!! it was awesome. probably the best cd ever! it is funny and good. it is another thing i will have to figure out how to share with those of you that weren't there. its ridiculous. it has something like 20 songs on it and they are all wonderful in their own way. i couldn't believe that it actually happened. brendan did sooooooooooooooooooooooo much work on it. i couldn't ever thank him enough for the sweetness he gave me in this gift. i don't know if it would have happened without him. they all did such a friggin' good job. sam even sang on it. i am very proud of him and thankful for that because i know that he doesn't normally do things like that. it means a great deal. matt took time out of workin' to make that money for janelle. :) danny drove from the other side of the ditch several times, plus he wins at singing. :) i could go on forever. matt, danny, mikey,mere-death, al, jacob, janelle, judith, abby-doobie, micah, kathryn, luke and katie fair, the ever-so-wonderful sarah beth, eric, the swan, the little girl, and i'm sure i'm leaving someone out right now but know that i appreciate you too.

i can't believe i made it through the night without balling like a baby. it was crazy. afterwards we went back to the boys house and hung out playing silly games. it was just a beautiful night. it was to the point i started wondering if i was going to get hit by a bus the next day and the Lord was just letting me go out with a bang. haha. well, i'm still alive so He must have just wanted to give me an extra lovely birthday. thank you to everyone, near and far. you are all so wonderful and i am completely blessed by the fact you are in my life. i love you more than i could ever manage to communicate. i have more to go along with this but i'm over this thing for now. so, to be continued...

so, sam wins. he has many ninja skills however, i was unaware that one of them was tire ninja. he changed that puppy like the wind. :) i'm pretty spoiled by my dear fellas. i just puke from love when i think about how great my friends are. having andera here makes me happy. she has no idea how thankful i am for her. she is one of the sweetest of babies. :) since she doesn't read this blog we can carry on our usual jerkness to each other. haha.

i've been slacking off with this blog more and more. its really annoying to put more than five pictures on here and then if i put them in the wrong order or accidentally erase one it is a huge pain. i end up spending a long friggin time to write a blog that should just take a few minutes. maybe i'm doing this wrong. feel free to educate me if you know. maybe i just need a different kind of blogger. i'm really out of the loop with this stuff.
