the promised update

we'll start with this guy pictured bellow.  i have been able to spend more time with him lately and i really love it.  we took jack to football practice and got a little bored so we started watching some old episodes of aqua teen hunger force.  he thought it was the funniest thing ever.  i have hardly ever heard him laugh that hard.  

we try to have dinner together once a week.  last week we took it up a notch with some card tricks and serious stakes poker. :)  by serious stakes i mean laundry and picking funny outfits for the losers.  needless to say, i suck at poker and will not be getting my laundry done and if you see me some place with extra ridiculous clothes on... just let it happen.

bellow is my attempt at a group picture.  luke moved so that he was not in the picture so i hit him.  violence may not be the answer but it sure makes me feel better. haha.

this picture is kind of a mess but i really liked all the colors.  that canadian is so small and cute. :)

jack and macey made cupcakes like pros the other day.  i loved hearing them talk about what they were doing.

this is nat's boyfriend.  haha.  i keep seeing him around town and i wanna be buddies with him.

 miss courtney greene had a birthday.  we had a great week partying it up.  i personalized this cake for her.  i call her gay all the time because of how girly she is but the truth is she is a magical lady and i'm glad she was born and my life gets to be around her's.

last weekend i got to hang out with this little lady.  she is so stinkin' cute.  

 the canadians had some cousins in for a visit.  they were just as entertaining as their stateside  cousins only in boy form.  especially because one is named tobias.   i pretty much just quoted arrested development at the kid all morning.  he was both amused and confused. :)

i was just walking past nat's room the other day and saw this out of the corner of my eye.  i thought it was confirming to some of my suspicions that smudge thinks she is a person.

i put this on facebook but not up here.  this is how fancy nat and i do mcdonalds drive through.  people are pretty jealous of us.  sorry planet earth but we are awesome.  i love you.

	This is why I like the tiny canadians. Their conversations go like this: lilah: I want to get out of the car seat. josephine: you can't. lilah: I can do it myself. josephine: no. Its too hard. Katie hates it. lilah: I hate stuff too. I hate lots of things. The way they talk just cracks me up. I laughed at this conversation so much. Partially because of how serious they both were & partially because everything is funnier when the voice saying it sounds like its been sucking helium out of balloons. i have lots of pictures &  updates coming. Sorry i've been slacking off again. :)

i found this today. there isn't much of what most of us call autumn here in florida. you have to learn to see the small pieces here and there that are hiding. i will say, this is the first year since i've moved to florida, that i can feel a little of it in the air. its been nice. maybe its because i've been here a while now. maybe i'm just making it up so i don't feel like i'm missing one of my very favorite things on the planet year after year. :) i don't guess it really matters because either way i win. i miss you daddy. its almost christmas.

i got to hang out with the magical judah and eisley for a little bit today. these kids are so friggin' cute that it is ridiculous. in addition to their good looks they are lovely to be around. i would gladly keep them. ;)  they both cracked me up today because they usually don't pay attention when i take pictures of them.  this time they both made these faces.

i wish all of these people were my friends.  may it be so, Lord. :)  i heard some of the new weezer album today.  it sounds like i will like it.  they have always been a dear friend of mine so i will always love them regardless.  

i'm mostly just writing this right now because i'm trying to be better about writing in this blog.  i'm doing so good, right!!! :)
